Practitioner Consultation Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This policy applies to all paid practitioner consultations booked through Nourish Health Hub, including online and in-person appointments.

Payment and acceptance

All paid practitioner consultations must be paid in full at the time of booking. You will be asked to read and accept this policy before adding a consultation to your cart.

Cancelling or rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice

We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation.

The notice period is calculated from the scheduled starting time of your appointment and includes weekends and public holidays. For example, a consultation booked for 10:00 am on Monday must be cancelled or rescheduled before 10:00 am on Saturday.

If at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, you may reschedule your consultation without charge or request a full refund to your original payment method.

Cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours

If you cancel or request to reschedule your consultation less than 48 hours before its scheduled starting time, the full consultation fee will apply. As payment is collected at the time of booking, the consultation fee will be retained and no refund or credit will be provided.

The consultation fee covers more than the time spent with your practitioner during the appointment. Before your consultation, the practitioner may review information from an earlier 15-minute consultation, health questionnaires, previous consultation notes, pathology or functional testing reports, diet diaries and other information you have provided. They may also undertake clinical research, consider appropriate recommendations and begin preparing for your consultation.

The full fee reflects this preparation and professional work, as well as the appointment time reserved exclusively for you and the limited opportunity to offer that time to another client.

Failure to attend

If you do not attend your consultation or join an online consultation at the scheduled time without providing the required notice, you will be considered a no-show. The full consultation fee will be retained and no refund or credit will be provided.

If you have not attended, joined or contacted us within 15 minutes of the scheduled starting time, the practitioner may treat the appointment as a no-show.

Late arrival

If you arrive or join late, your consultation will still finish at its original scheduled time and the full consultation fee will apply. This ensures that later appointments are not disrupted.

Online consultation access

For online consultations, you are responsible for ensuring that you have a suitable device, internet connection and access to the meeting link before the appointment begins. If you experience technical difficulties, contact the practitioner or Nourish Health Hub immediately.

Client-side technical difficulties do not automatically entitle you to a refund, credit or additional consultation time. If a technical issue on our end prevents the consultation from proceeding, the appointment will be rescheduled without charge or refunded in full.

Cancellations by Nourish Health Hub

If Nourish Health Hub or your practitioner needs to cancel your consultation, you may choose to reschedule your appointment without charge or receive a full refund to your original payment method.

Complimentary 15-minute consultations

No cancellation fee applies to a complimentary 15-minute consultation. However, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend so the time can be made available to another client. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book further complimentary consultations.

How to cancel or reschedule

To cancel or reschedule, reply to your booking confirmation or contact Nourish Health Hub using the contact details provided with your booking.

Your request takes effect when it is received by us. Sending a request less than 48 hours before the scheduled starting time is considered a late cancellation or rescheduling request.
