Newy’s Healthiest Sausage Sanga

Newy’s Healthiest Sausage Sanga

Celebrating 3 Years of Nourish Health Hub With Community, Real Food & Giving Back

On Saturday 30 May, we're celebrating three years of Nourish Health Hub the best way we know how… bringing the community together over real food.

To celebrate our 3rd birthday, we're hosting Newy's Healthiest Sausage Sanga outside our Wallsend store, alongside birthday sales, giveaways, goodie bags, product sampling, a spin-the-wheel and plenty more happening throughout the morning.

But this event is about much more than just a birthday.

It's about community.

It's about supporting local.

And it's about remembering that right now, a lot of people are doing it tough.

That's why we've partnered with Soul Hub Newcastle for this event, with 50% of every sausage sanga sold going directly toward helping feed people in need.

Because at the end of the day, food should bring people together.

And if we can celebrate our business while also helping support members of our community who are struggling right now, then that's something we're incredibly proud of.

Every Sanga Helps Feed Someone In Need

The current economic climate has been hard on everyone.

Rising grocery prices. Rising rent. Rising bills. Small businesses feeling pressure. Families feeling pressure.

We see it every day.

And while we're incredibly grateful to still be here three years later, we also understand that many people in our local community are facing challenges we may never fully see behind closed doors.

That's why partnering with Soul Hub felt like such a natural fit for this event.

They do incredible work within the Newcastle community, providing meals, support and connection to people who need it most.

So this event isn't just about grabbing a sausage sandwich.

It's about knowing that every single sanga sold on the day helps contribute toward feeding someone in need.

Meet The Farmer Behind The Meat

One of the things that matters deeply to us at Nourish is transparency.

We believe people deserve to know where their food comes from, how it's raised and who is behind it.

That's why our local meat supplier Dave from Hunter Natural will be cooking on the BBQ throughout the event.

Dave raises grass-fed and finished cattle and lamb locally and has become an important part of what we do here at Nourish Health Hub.

This event gives our community the chance to actually meet the farmer behind the food.

To ask questions.

To connect.

And to better understand the difference that real, properly raised food can make.

In a world where food has become increasingly disconnected from the people producing it, creating that direct connection again is incredibly important to us.

Three Years Later… And Still Going

If you own a small business, you know that making it to three years is no small feat.

Especially in the current climate.

There have been many long days, stressful moments, financial pressure, uncertainty and plenty of behind-the-scenes challenges that most people never see.

But there's also been purpose. There's been growth. There's been community.

And there's been the privilege of building something that genuinely means something to people.

When we first got the keys to this shop three years ago, we had a vision for creating something different. A space built around transparency, education, community and products we truly believed in.

Since then, we've built an incredible team that we're genuinely proud of, alongside a loyal community that continues to support us every single week.

That support is something we never take for granted.

To every customer who has supported us, shared our content, trusted our team, attended our events, ordered from us or simply walked through our doors… thank you.

This business has been built through years of relentless work, passion, sacrifice and belief.

And honestly, it's been worth every minute.
