Blood Orange Turmeric Shrub

Cold pressed blood oranges, turmeric, freshly ground cardamom and whole black pepper. This is one of our most popular shrubs, and for good reason.

The use of turmeric as a remedy goes back thousands of years. It is a main stay of traditional Indian herbal medicine or Ayurveda. It is gentle and well tolerated but incredibly powerful, with a wide range of actions, including digestive support, liver detoxification, anti-inflammatory function and is a promoter of brain tissue health. 

To accentuate the bioavailability and effectiveness of turmeric, we use the same method as traditional practitioners, which is to combine it with black pepper.
