Hawthorn is popular in Europe where it is used in a number of herbal tinctures, herbal combinations and teas. Considered a ‘bitter’ herb, Hawthorn has a tonic effect on peripheral circulation and has been used historically as a cardiovascular system tonic to support heart health.
